Chakra is a Sanskrit word meaning wheel or wheel of light and refers to each of the seven energy centers located along the midline of the body. The Chakras or energy centers regulate the flow of energy and reflect how we choose to respond to situations and conditions of our life. Beginning with the Root Chakra at the base of the spine and continuing up the spine to the crown at the top of the head, these Chakras are energy portals through which psychological and spiritual energies flow in the mind-body interface. Each Chakra has its own interaction with a part of the body and its own purpose. When all the Chakras are open and radiant, then the Chakra system is balanced, creating harmony between the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual aspects of a person. The use of essential oils is a wonderful way to balance and cleanse the Chakras and attune oneself to love and light.

Guide to Anointing the Chakras

Apply Synergy Chakra Blends to assist in restoring well-being to your mind, body, emotions and spirit. Place a drop of anointing oil on your fingertips. Inhale the scent and become aware of your intention. Apply the oil on its corresponding chakra in a circular motion. Visualize the color associated with that chakra as it activates and balances that energy center. You may say aloud or silently as you anoint your 1st chakra: “Healing red ray, open, balance and energize my first chakra.” You may affirm the qualities associated with that chakra. Be conscious of the Divine that resides in your being. Give thanks. If it is your desire, move similarly through your other chakras.
